Terms of Service

No real money gaming

NBL is a free entertainment and skill-tracking platform. It does not accept wagers, hold funds, or pay prizes of monetary value. Nothing on NBL is a bet.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using playnbl.com (“NBL”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What NBL is

NBL is a free, skill-based league for tracking sports predictions. Members log picks before games begin; those picks lock at the scheduled start time and are graded automatically from public sports results. Members earn points, rank and badges.

NBL is not a sportsbook, casino, lottery, daily fantasy operator, or money-transmission service. No money can be deposited, wagered, won, or withdrawn. Points, ranks, badges and power-ups have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or reset.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (21+ where local rules for sports-related content require it) and able to form a binding contract. One account per person. Accounts are for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Choose a username that is not impersonating another person or brand. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

5. Picks, grading and scoring

Picks must be submitted before the scheduled start of the relevant game or period. Once locked, a pick cannot be edited or deleted by you.

Grading is automated using third-party public sports data. That data can be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. We may re-grade, void or correct picks and adjust scores when a grading error, data error, postponement, cancellation or scoring rule change occurs. Our determination of results, standings and rank is final.

Scoring rules, point values, power-ups, bonuses and rank thresholds may change as the league evolves.

6. Fair play

You agree not to:

• create multiple or automated accounts to manipulate standings; • submit picks through scripts, scrapers or bots without our written permission; • exploit bugs, timing gaps or data errors to place picks after an outcome is known; • harass other members, post unlawful or abusive content, or impersonate anyone; • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.

NBL may operate clearly labelled demonstration or league-activity accounts to keep competition lively at low-traffic times. Such accounts are not eligible for any real-world recognition in place of a member.

7. Leagues, challenges and prizes

Members may create private leagues and challenges. Any prize described inside a member-created league is arranged entirely between those members. NBL does not sponsor, collect, hold, administer or guarantee such prizes and is not a party to them.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of your username, bio and other content you submit. You grant NBL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it within the service — for example on public leaderboards, profile pages and shareable result cards. Picks and records are public by design.

9. Third-party data and links

Scores, odds references, schedules and statistics come from third-party providers. Team names and logos belong to their respective owners. NBL is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team or data provider.

10. No betting advice

Nothing on NBL is gambling, financial or investment advice. Picks shown on the platform are members’ own predictions. If you choose to gamble elsewhere, you do so entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

11. Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, seasons or the service itself at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NBL and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from grading errors, data inaccuracies, downtime, or decisions you make based on content on the platform.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use NBL after an update means you accept the revised terms.
